The Central Rocky Mountain Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) warmly invites our siblings in the RMC to join us for a Fall Film Fellowship on Sunday, November 8, from 3:00–4:30 p.m. MT on Zoom.
Each year, the CRMR Reconciliation Ministry offers programs that support our ongoing anti-racism work. This fall, we are gathering for a discussion of Refuge: A Story About Fear and Love in the American South, an award-winning documentary about a former KKK leader whose relationship with a Muslim refugee begins to challenge long-held hatred and open unexpected possibilities for healing and connection across deep differences.
Participants are invited to watch the film in advance, then join us for a facilitated conversation about fear, prejudice, belonging, relationship, and what becomes possible when love calls us beyond the boundaries of our own tribes.
Refuge is available free through Kanopy and Tubi, or for rental or purchase through several major streaming platforms. More information and viewing options: https://www.refugemovie.com/watch
Please register individually by Sunday, October 25 for our November 8 Zoom discussion: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/FsXyYvtMRj2HPyrNlow_Pg.
