You are warmly invited to our Root & Reckon celebration gathering where we will receive the Land Stories that the core teams have been weaving the last 6 months.
As a Rocky Mountain Community of Practice we are unearthing and remembering our relational responsibilities to the Land, original Native nations of Turtle Island, and to the places and Peoples we and our churches are co-sustainers with.
In this 250th and 150th year of colonial narratives of erasure and ongoing genocide that have led to the removal, extermination, assimilation and domination of Land and Peoples, we humbly and courageously choose to tell more truth-full stories of the Land and the lineages we are part of.
Please join us in person or on Zoom to encourage the core teams and to become part of this Root & Reckon Community of Practice.

We invite you to bring 2 offerings for our collective practice:
1. Community altar offering: Someone/thing honoring those who have supported this work of reckoning, rooting, and relationship.
This could be an object, photograph, flower, drawing, written word, or anything else that represents a living loved one, ancestor, deity or guide, place, plant or animal relative, cultural practice, or other source of support.
2. Water from, or representing, water that sustains you.
If you gather water, plants, flowers, or other offerings from the Land, please ask permission and receive consent before taking. Remember Robin Wall Kimmerer’s invitations for the Honorable Harvest.
