Over the last several months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the 2026 Annual Celebration Planning Committee as they come together to create an amazing event. As this weekend quickly approaches, I wanted to share a bit more about the planning process so that you can know more about what to expect.
This year’s theme for Annual Celebration is Oasis in the Desert ( see our official logo below!). In a world thirsting for hope, we will gather in Provo to drink from the deep wells of faith, justice, and mercy, empowering one another to be a courageous and life-giving church in a world on the edge. This theme has been shaped and inspired by several scriptures, especially Amos 5:24:
Let justice roll down like a mighty water and righteousness flow like an ever-flowing stream.

As we’ve been creating the agenda for AC 2026, the Planning Committee has been thinking about the importance of the safety and protection that churches offer to the most vulnerable members of our communities. We affirm that safety is only assured if we have a sense of justice for all, and our goal is to make AC 2026 a space where all can reconnect with that sense of safety.
After establishing safety, we can have a sense that the safety flows through us, and that we are a channel for God’s love and life. Through experiencing safety, reconnection, and reaffirmation from each other, we hope to be renewed and ready to return to our communities, edified and strengthened. Like the watershed that flows from mountains of strength, we see RMC ministries as pockets of refuge, sustenance, and care. Water is a connective tissue, and our goal for this event is to offer strength to you, the leaders of the RMC’s local churches and ministries, as you continue to be the connective tissues in your communities.
We hope that you’ll choose to join us for Annual Celebration 2026 on June 11-13th in Provo, Utah. If you want to stay at our venue hotel (and get a great deal on your room), you must register for AC 2026 via Zeffy and then use the link in your confirmation email to reserve your room by May 11th.
