From March 17-24, 2018, the Rocky Mountain Conference—UCC and the Rocky Mountain Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will co-sponsor a youth trip to New York City and Washington, DC.

The trip, whose theme is "Being a Faithful Global Citizen" based on Galatians 5:13-14, is part of the International Affairs Seminar (IAS), a program designed to help high-school juniors and seniors make a difference in the world, both as U.S. citizens and persons of faith. The event flier can be found here.

During the trip, students will spend a week traveling and learning together, with visits to the United Nations in New York City, and the offices of our elected officials in Washington, DC. They'll connect with non-profits and churches who are making a difference, worship together, attend a play, eat amazing food, volunteer, and spend time sightseeing!

The Seminar is $1,500 per student, which includes airfare, trainfare, overnight accommodations (shared rooms, showers, and floor space), ground transportation, seminar fees, and most meals. A $500 deposit will be due in November, 2017.

To learn more or reserve your spot, please contact our IAS Chaperones:

More information, including deposit due-date and specific travel details, will be shared in the next few months. Please reach out to them with any questions or concerns!
