After 63 years of ministry in the southwest community of Denver, the congregation of Christ Congregational UCC at 2500 S. Sheridan Boulevard concluded their worship life together on March 31, 2019. They simultaneously gifted the Rocky Mountain Conference with their property which includes a functional building and a full square block of property. The Rocky Mountain Conference owes a debt of gratitude to the congregation of Christ Congregational Church for their many years of faithful ministry and this generous legacy gift to the conference.
Recognizing that this is an exciting opportunity that doesn’t come around often, we want to hear YOUR ideas on how we should best utilize the legacy gift of Christ Congregational, and we’d like to hear from every corner of the Conference! Please share your thoughts on this Google Form.
If you have a ministry idea that you would like to propose – either in this existing building or with funds that could be available from the funds of a sale – please download and complete this brief Letter of Interest. The more we understand of your excitement for ministry, the better able we are to steward our collective resources.
We request your responses no later than Sunday, October 20, 2019. The Board will meet on Wednesday, November 13 to make some preliminary decisions. Please continue to watch our Connected at Our Roots newsletter which will keep you informed as we move forward.
