The RMC is thrilled to announce that Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, General Minister and President of the UCC, will be visiting two Platte Valley RMC churches this weekend! On Saturday, November 1st, you’re invited to an informal, meet-and-greet reception with Rev. Dr. Thompson at First Cong. Greeley. This event is happening from 5-7PM, and we ask that you please RSVP by October 29th, which you can do by sending an email to laura@firstconggreeley.org. Then, on Sunday, November 2nd, Rev. Dr. Thompson will be preaching at St. John’s UCC in Greeley as part of their 109th anniversary celebration! You are invited to join these festivities in-person at their 10 AM worship service, or you can livestream the event via the St. John’s UCC YouTube channel, which you can access via this link.
