RMC Office Gets NEW Phone System, Perfect for Remote Work

Have you tried to call the RMC office in the past few months? If you have, the odds are good that you didn’t reach a live person and had to leave a voicemail.

Like so many things, the RMC office has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Denver office closed in mid-March, and all our staff began working remotely from home full-time. One of the most difficult aspects of this transition was our phone system. With no one in the office to answer the phone, our only recourse was to periodically check our voicemail messages remotely and return calls. Needless to say, this was not the most efficient way to handle communication.

After extensive research and testing of different options, we have selected a VOIP phone solution for our office staff. Elevate Unified Communications won out over the competition and was installed over the last few weeks. We are now poised to work from home more effectively than ever before!

How does it work, you ask? Each staff person now has an application on their computer desktop that serves as a desk phone. Calls come in and can be transferred to other extensions, and voicemail is now available to us in real-time. This change allows us to continue our remote work further into the future.

How does this affect you? It will make it much easier and faster to reach a staff member during business hours. Your call will most likely be answered by our Office Admin extraordinaire, Melissa McCarl, or Dir. of Communication, Daryl Schrieber. We will be able to direct your call to the appropriate staff person.

Our office phone number remains the same: 303-984-9118.
