This morning an email with the subject “MANY BLESSINGS” went out from an email scammer claiming to be Rev. Sue Artt. This was NOT sent by Sue. Never purchase gift cards or anything else from an email request.
Unfortunately, hackers and scammers will continue to attempt to scam good people by impersonating those you trust. The best line of defense is vigilance! If an email address is incorrect, if the message asks for gift cards, payment info, or money, or if it just seems off, delete the email right away and block the sender.
