The Colorado Council of Churches (CCC) has announced it’s collaboration in a new campaign, Faithful Tuesdays!
As people of faith, we believe we are called to live into our principles by advocating for a just world for all. Faithful Tuesdays will be comprised of a diverse group of faith leaders, organizations, and community members who are committed to adding a deeper, moral dimension to the public policy-making process in Colorado.
From Adrian Miller, Executive Director of the CCC:
Our focus will be on advancing a faith narrative and collaborative process that supports a just economy, promotes equity and eradicates racism in Colorado.
We will hold multi-faith events at the Colorado State Capitol throughout the 2019 legislative session. Some of these events may feature specific legislation, while other events may focus on forwarding a shared narrative of justice, love, healing, reconciliation, and care for the other.
You can find the complete schedule and RSVP info for Faithful Tuesdays here. Please join us for Faithful Tuesdays from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Colorado State Capitol (200 E. Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80203).
