Daniel Su’a Accepted into CYYAM

We want to take this opportunity to say congratulations to Daniel Su’a on being accepted to the new class of the Council for Youth and Young Adult Ministries (CYYAM)!

Council for Youth and Young Adult Ministry (CYYAM) shall gather themselves according to the UCC guidelines, “ensure that the unique gifts and talents of youth and youth adults are present in all aspects of the life of the Church.”

Although my new role in CYYAM has not yet been determined, I am confident with the help of God I will follow the guidelines diligently. Along with my colleagues, I will emphasize the guidelines accordingly by assisting in the planning and executing our UCC youth and young adult events, building community among UCC youth and young adults, promoting UCC events as opportunities arise through local church, and most of all, represent the youth with pride. Youth are tomorrow’s voice for not only our country but for our Church.

President Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your county.” As a CYYAM candidate, I will ask not what CYYAM can do for me, but I will ask myself, what I can do for the UCC through CYYAM, so Help me God.

– Blessings, Daniel Su’a
