If you attended our Fall 2017 retreat, or any other Conference youth event, you know that La Foret is a place where youth are encouraged to dig deeper into the "why" of their faith; where the best camp staff in the country lead the youth in joyful programming; and where nature, friendships, and worship intersect to create Spirit.

The Spring Jr/Sr-High Retreat is a vital place for youth (grades 6–12) to build an amazing community together! Along with games, songs, dancing, and profound discussion, youth will also be able to discuss their faith, explore profound questions, develop their beliefs and values, and make new lifelong friendships. We invite parents to register their youth for this transformational weekend!

Reflecting upon a few of the parables of Jesus, this retreat will dive deeper into how our faith calls us to see the world in a way that gives dignity, freedom, and hope to the people of our community.

If you’re a parent and would like to know more about our outdoor ministry—including information about our staff, policies, theology, standards, and more—please read our Parent Handbook below.

Event Leadership

Eli McCutchen (High School Leader)

Eli grew up at La Foret, which led to her career as a youth worker. She is excited to bring 12 years of experience to the Fall Retreat. The “A-HA!” moments of discovery and personal development are some of her life's most rewarding moments.

Rev. Mollie Landers Hatt (Middle School Leader)

Mollie lives in CO after serving as Director of Outdoor Ministries for the New Hampshire Conference. In her time in the RMC, she has already become a huge youth leader at La Foret!
