The Rocky Mountain Conference has partnerships with nonprofits, denominations, and justice organizations all over the world. Below are some of our most esteemed colleagues in ministry and philanthropy.

Global Partners:

Global Partners is a one-of-a-kind partnership between the RMCUCC, the Rocky Mountain Disciples of Christ (DOC), and the Evangelical United Pentecostal Church of Venezuela (UEPV). The 200 churches represented in this partnership have committed to:

  • Working together to share God’s love but not trying to change each other theologically
  • Planning and working on projects together
  • Exchanging people and sharing resources
  • Supporting each other through social, political, and spiritual challenges

If you are interested in learning more about Global Partners, please email Marcia Meier or call her at 303.884.1106.

Disciples of Christ

The Disciples of Christ (DoC) are a denomination that identifies as a “movement for wholeness.” On their website, their Identity Statement says, “We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.” The UCC has been a partner of DoC for 25 years, and the RMCUCC works alongside their Central Rocky Mountain Region

United Church of Canada:

In October 2015, the United Church of Christ and the United Church of Canada signed a Historic Full Communion Agreement, which states that “both denominations’ openness to co-operation in terms of witness, mission, worship, and the proclamation of a common faith.”

Mission Partners:

Each year, the Mission Team of the Rocky Mountain Conference awards grants to numerous organizations within the Conference. The grants are made possible by each church’s donation to Our Church’s Wider Ministry (OCWM) fund and range in size from $200 to $5,000. Mission Partner organizations often have a connection to the RMC community. Funding decisions are based on the extensive information received in the application, as well as the supplementary materials that are requested. The amount requested is taken into consideration with the understanding that our budget is limited.

Mission Partner grant applications are usually posted in late summer, and are due sometime in the fall. Please check back regularly for updates.
