As Conference Minister, Sue has responsibility for guiding, leading, and encouraging the Conference to live out Christ’s call to service, mission, and ministry here in the Rocky Mountains. Alongside the RMC Board, Sue has helped the Conference complete the re-visioning process begun at the June 2013 Annual Meeting, and led us to plant Mission Seeds in 2015. In January 2016, Sue was nominated jointly by the Board and Search Committee for settled Conference Minister of the Conference. On Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Sue was voted unanimously as Conference Minister by the voting delegation. Her installation will take place August 20, 2016 at La Foret Conference & Retreat Center in Black Forest, Colorado. Read her full professional bio.


Rev. Erin Gilmore

Rev. Erin Gilmore began her new ministry with us on May 15, 2017, and was installed as Associate Conference Minister on June 9, 2017, at our Annual Celebration in Cheyenne, WY. Prior to joining us, she served as Senior Pastor of Loveland UCC in Loveland, CO, and as Senior Pastor of Holladay UCC in Holladay (Salt Lake City), Utah. Working with other Conference leaders, Rev. Gilmore was instrumental in re-imagining and reshaping the RMC’s Annual Celebration to be the generative event it is today. Going forward, her main priority will be nurturing the vitality of our churches, especially those furthest away from the Conference Office in Denver.


Cory Kibler

Cory Kibler works with Conference staff and churches to effectively communicate timely and relevant information. His responsibilities include creating Conference messaging, web updates, the RoMoCo Newsletter, managing social media, marketing and promoting upcoming camps and events, technology and communication workshops for Associations and churches, and doing everything he can to ensure that the RMC and its churches are Radically Connected.


Daryl Gerboth

Daryl, who also works half-time as Communications Director for Lakewood UCC, joined us in May 2018 as our Executive Admin. In her part-time role, she manages our insurance, reception, Search & Call, event planning, DataHub and church records, event registration, and countless other tasks. She works Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 pm, during which time you can experience her professionalism and problem-solving first hand.


Janice Travis

Janice started with us in April 2018, and hit the ground running! Previously a full-time retiree, she has a long and experienced financial career behind her, and wanted a role in which she could work part-time doing something she loves for a cause she believes in. In her role, she oversees everything financial, managing all funds coming in and out of the Conference Office. Janice is in the office all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


Rev. Chris Gilmore

Rev. Chris Gilmore, along with being the Senior Pastor at Sixth Avenue, has decades of outdoor ministry experience at La Foret and other camps around the country. When time allows, Chris enjoys hiking, skiing, scuba-diving, golf, tennis, bridge, and European football (soccer). He is an avid reader, frequent traveler, and spends a least 10 days a summer on a long-distance backpacking trip.


Candise Woods

Candise Woods is our new Intern and Student Ambassador! She began in September 2017, and will serve through May of 2018. She is pursuing her Masters of Divinity at The Iliff School of Theology, and is a Member In Discernment with the UCC. Candise is also a 10-year veteran with the United States Air Force, and serves as a Chaplain Candidate in the USAF Reserves. As Student Ambassador of Spiritual Leadership, Engagement, and Discipleship Ministry (SLED-M), she is on a journey to engage with local churches throughout our five Associations to learn and model “courageous conversation” and authentic engagement. In other words, she is a genuinely curious learner, and wants to get to know you and what makes your community unique!
