The Pension Boards—United Church of Christ invites people of all ages and retirement planning stages that have accumulation balances in the Annuity Plan to participate in an upcoming Pre-Retirement Seminar to be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 9am (Mountain) at First Plymouth Congregational UCC in Englewood, CO.

Member Education: Pre-Retirement Seminar

PBUCC Pre-Retirement Seminars are designed to provide members—both clergy and lay—with important information to help make the transition to a new stage in life as easy as possible.

Throughout the year, the Pension Boards conducts retirement seminars and webinars for individuals and their spouses/partners all over the United Church of Christ. These sessions allow participants to take an active role in financial wellness while helping to maximize the Pension Boards’ benefit plans and programs.

Actively-contributing members of the Annuity Plan can also take advantage of free, robust financial planning tools and education through the EY Financial Planning Center® (EYFPC), by calling the EY Financial Planner Line ® (EYFPL) at 1.877.927.1047, Monday–Friday from 9am to 8pm (Eastern).

About the Seminar

This workshop covers several topics, including: how a person can determine whether they can afford to retire; choices people have at retirement; the benefits of Social Security; and an overview of UCC benefits plans, including EY Financial Planning Services®, which is available to actively-contributing members of the Annuity Plan at no cost.

“It is our privilege to serve all of our members with the tools they need to achieve financial wellness and to secure their retirement,” said Wynonia Leak, Director, Employer Development and Member Education for PBUCC. “These workshops are designed to engage, inform, and get to the root of what may be causing someone to delay their financial planning.
