Exciting News at Parkview Congregational Church

Recently, Parkview Congregational Church in Aurora, CO voted to call Rev. Corbin Tobey-Davis as their Lead Pastor and Rev. Kari Collins as their Co-Pastor.

This exciting news follows the announcement of current Lead Pastor Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman’s retirement. Rev. Hoffman began faithfully serving Parkview in 1993 while studying at Iliff School of Theology, and was then called to full-time ministry at Parkview in 1995. In the last 20+ years, he has  lead the congregation in many incredible developments, with special emphasis placed on youth empowerment. Rev. Hoffman’s absence will be felt, but both Rev. Hoffman and the congregation of Parkview are eager to witness the church’s future under the leadership of Rev. Corbin Tobey-Davis and Rev. Kari Collins.

This exciting new path begins with two special events at the church:

  1. On Sunday, August 14 at 3 p.m., Parkview and the Metro Denver Association will worship and celebrate the Ordination of Rev. Kari Collins. A reception will follow the ceremony, and will be hosted by Parkview and First Plymouth Congregational Church (Englewood).
  2. On Sunday, August 28 at 9:30 a.m., Parkview and the Metro Denver Association will worship and install Rev. Corbin Tobey-Davis and Rev. Kari Collins as their Lead Pastor and Co-Pastor, respectively. There will also be a Litany of Release and Farewell for Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman as he retires from active ministry in the United Church of Christ.

This is a powerful and transformational time for Parkview Congregational Church, and we invite you to hold the people and ministry of Parkview in your hearts.
