General Synod, the national meeting of the UCC, is July 11-15 in Kansas City. Delegates and visitors from our Conference will gather with those from the 35 other UCC Conferences, as well as representatives of the national setting for inspirational worship, fellowship with friends (old and new), and public witness including through engagement with the business of the church.

Among the matters Synod will address are resolutions of witness. These include supporting Human Rights in the Philippines, promotion of the Our Whole Lives Sexuality and Faith curriculum, responding to the government’s attack on Immigrants, Migrants, and Refugees, and calling for restoration of funding for USAID, the United States Agency for International Development.
