Registration Deadline for Winter Book Study

January 11, 2026

Join the Reconciliation Ministry team from the Disciples Central Rocky Mountain Region for a five-week study of Layla F. Saad’s Me and White Supremacy: Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor. The book guides readers step by step through examining white privilege, the meaning of allyship, patterns of anti-Blackness, racial stereotypes, cultural appropriation, and the ongoing work of responding to race with honesty and commitment. Its 28 days of readings and journaling prompts invite sustained self-reflection that supports meaningful social change. We will meet weekly on Zoom for facilitated reflection on what emerged in the previous week’s readings. Registration is required for all participants.

All Laypersons & Clergy in the Disciples Central Rocky Mountain Region and UCC Rocky Mountain Conference are welcome to register.

Participants are encouraged to obtain a copy of the book in time for our first gathering. There is no pre-reading required. We will begin the daily readings as a group beginning on Jan 18, 2026.

Sessions meet Sundays from 2 to 3 pm (MST).
