Leading Together: A Training for Congregational Moderators — August 17th & 25th, 2026 (via Zoom) — Register here by August 10th!

This two-session introductory course explores the role of moderators and congregational leadership, why congregational leadership is different from other leadership contexts, and how to navigate the relational and interpersonal dynamics that come with the work. Through real-life scenarios, peer learning, and frameworks, participants will gain greater clarity about their role and leave with tools they can begin using immediately. This workshop is designed as an introduction to congregational leadership. The first session will focus specifically on the role of the church moderator, while the second session will focus on developing frameworks for conflict resolution and unique church challenges. Additional workshops on topics such as communication, conflict, meetings, change leadership, and congregational systems will be offered separately later on in 2026 and 2027. Register on Zeffy by August 10th! Although the training is specifically geared toward church moderators, any and all lay leaders are welcome to attend.
