The Healthy Ministry Relationships Team is excited to present our new, 8-hour comprehensive training course, Position of Trust: Committing to Healthy Ministry Relationships!
This interactive Zoom workshop re-imagines the “Sacred Trust” Boundary Training previously offered by the Rocky Mountain Conference. We have also expanded the coverage of the workshop to add more subjects: Healthy Communications and Disclosures, HMR and Children/Youth, Financial and Personal Ethics, Mandatory Reporting Requirements (Abuse), HMR and Social Media, Pastoral Transitions, Personal Safety, and Race, Gender & LGBTQIA, Unhealthy Ministry Relationships and Wider Church Intervention (Rev. Sue Artt presenting).
This two-afternoon workshop is required for Members in Discernment (MIDs) and clergy transferees into the RMC. Participants must register in advance and attend the full training to receive credit (no exemptions, proxy attendance, or home study).
These two online interactive sessions will be presented by Rev. Dr. Tracey Dawson and Rev. Wendy Kidd, with breakout sessions hosted by members of the Healthy Ministry Relationships Team. Please direct questions to Pastor Tracey. Registration is $45.00. Please register by October 3.
