Lunch and Learn: Making Music More Inclusive

Music is a powerful part of worship and is one of the many ways churches can live into their commitments to be inclusive and affirming. This Lunch & Learn will offer practical methods of making music more inclusive, focusing on: utilizing language that has affirming and expansive language for God and humanity; and working with singers (choir or congregation) who are trans, nonbinary, or otherwise have a voice that doesn’t fit neatly into traditional male/female ranges.
