From Insurrection to Inspiration: Images of Hope

May 30

You’re invited to “From Insurrection to Inspiration: Images of Hope,” a narrated photo journey by renowned photojournalist Nate Gowdy. This event showcases Gowdy’s powerful visuals, starting with the insurrection of January 6th and ending with his coverage of ICE in Minneapolis.

Nate Gowdy is a Seattle-based photographer of 14 years whose work examines the performance of American politics and identity through a documentary fine-art lens. He has covered hundreds of political events across 27 states, and his work has been featured in TimeRolling Stone and Mother Jones. His long-form projects often foreground the spectacle and polarization of partisan gatherings, particularly on the American right.

This conversation with Mr. Gowdy will be moderated by Bazi Kanani of Colorado Public Radio.
