Intro to Gender & Trans/Nonbinary Affirmation

Beginning from the assumption that all people have a relationship to gender, participants will explore their own experience of gender and learn basic concepts and terminology related to gender, as it relates to transgender and nonbinary people as well as cisgender (non-trans) people. Participants will also reflect on how churches demonstrate welcome to various types of people and explore how their own church might advance welcome and affirmation to trans and nonbinary people.
