Plymouth Congregational UCC in Fort Collins will be hosting UCC minister and author, Rev. Eric Elnes, Phd. as our visiting scholar on November 14, from 9-3, via Zoom.
Elnes authored the Phoenix Affirmations, Asphalt Jesus and Gifts of the Dark Wood. He will be leading us through some of the darkness of our times to different perspectives. Since this is a virtual seminar and physical space is not an issue, we are opening it up to churches in our conference and others who may benefit from the gifts of his wisdom and perspective. Registration is now open at plymouthucc.org/visitingscholar.
You are invited to join together as Rev. Eric Elnes, Ph.D., leads us on a provocative and inspiring journey designed for anyone – clergy or laity – who feels awkward in their search for God, who seeks to find holiness amidst their holy-mess, who desires real, concrete reasons for hope in a Christian landscape that often seems bleak or barren.
