RMC Youth: Do you already have plans for Spring Break?
From March 25–30, 2018, Eli McCutchen and Brandon Duan from First Congregational Church in Boulder will lead up to 10 youth (grades 9–12) on a five-night backpacking trip through Utah’s Dark Canyon Wilderness! The theme of the trip is “Tested,” inspired by Jesus’s own journey into the wilderness.
“This transformative and fun week will bring teens closer to themselves, God, and each other. We will push emotional, spiritual, and physical limits; facilitate deep discussions; and provide lots of reflection time to journey inward to hear God’s messages. We will teach and practice minimalistic camping skills and ‘Leave No Trace’ principles. We’ll have fun canyon hiking each day, and on the final day, each youth will have a solo experience.”
