UCC Insurance Board
The Insurance Board (IB) is a nonprofit corporation "owned" by the 38 participating Conferences of the United Church of Christ.
The IB administers a property and liability insurance program serving churches of the United Church of Christ and our partner denomination, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We are blessed with coverage plans that are unequaled in the marketplace. Over 4,300 churches and related entities participate as of Dec. 2003.
The Rocky Mountain Conference encourages all our churches to take advantage of the exceptional protections offered through our UCC Conferences program – greatly needed and appreciated in today’s legal environment. By supporting our program, UCC churches in all 50 states are able to find affordable church insurance.
Many churches, even if not participants, still have services available to them through the Insurance Board. The link below further details the many ways churches could use benefits even if they aren't Insurance Board participants. Also, you can visit their website, InsuranceBoard.org and notice they have a "Call to Celebrate." They are inviting churches, leaders, congregants, etc., in recognition of the Insurance Board celebrating 30 years in 2015.
