RMC Camps
MADD Camp
(for youth entering grades 9-12)
Our theory at MADD is that we can get in touch with God through using the arts. Although we do engage the youth in intellectual faith conversations, we also attempt to get them “out of their heads” and into experiencing the transcendent. We find these moments to be the most powerful in helping the young people to develop a lifelong faith. $420*
Grandparent & Me Camp
(for children ages 5-11)
Our camp is designed to strengthen the special relationship between grandparents and grandparent surrogates and their grandchildren. Fun and discovery is around each corner as we explore nature, encounter God, and work on craft projects together. Worship, playtime, swim time, and campfires round out our camp.
$135* child & $195* grandparent
Explorer Camp
(for youth entering grades 4-6)
An action packed week exploring the Bible, nature, and creating community. We will follow five stories taken from the Bible about heroes of the faith using arts and crafts, games, and storytelling. On deck for the week are campfires, swimming, arts and crafts, outdoor games, free time, rope course, and worship.
Voyager Music Camp:
(for youth entering grades 6-8)
Not your traditional music camp. Each day will began with an exploration. Thoughts and words from the exploration will be distilled. Rhythm will be discerned. Finally a tune will arise so that by vespers a new song will have emerged from the campers. A program of each day’s exploration and song will be presented for parents and friends on Saturday. Traditional camp fun is also on tap with hikes, the high ropes course, swimming, campfires, games, and creative arts.
Contemplative Life Camp (adults)
Our pattern is to follow the rhythm of the day so that we begin and end in silence--not a silence of anger or obligation…but a silence that celebrates a Mystery beyond words. In between the silence is sharing, swimming, labyrinth walking, and much, much laughter as we seek to practice the presence of God. $410*
Pioneer Camp
(for youth entering grades 2-4)
We will play, swim, hike, sing, eat, make crafts, hear stories, and make new friends in the Black Forest at LaForet! Our counselors will keep us safe and show us new ways to have fun outdoors. It’s gonna be great! Our camp is designed with the first-time-camper and younger-camper in mind $400*
Explorer Music Camp
(for youth entering grades 4-6)
Children will be engaged in the production of a musical to be performed on Saturday for family and friends. Ability to sit through practice periods is much appreciated. Along with set designs, learning songs, and memorizing parts we will also enjoy campfires, swimming, hiking, and other traditional camp activities.
Voyager Camp
(for youth entering grades 7&8)
Come with an open mind, a fun spirit and a friendly attitude. As always, we want this to be a memorable week filled with lots of laughs, music, hugs and friendship. The ropes course is back this year. We want you leaving camp with stories that will make you smile throughout the rest of the year!
